Mae West: Mr. Ed DVD

Though MAE WEST, by choice, did not do much TV work, her fans really enjoyed her star turn on "Mr. Ed" — — broadcast on 22 March 1964. Word comes that the complete 4th season of the iconic program will be available next month, along with the Mae West episode.
• • According to David Lambert: Mister Ed — — 26 more episodes of the legendary series are available in mid-November
• • David Lambert writes: Earlier this week we reported that Shout! Factory is preparing a mid-November DVD release of Mister Ed — — The Complete 4th Season. The 4-disc set will be available exclusively via the Shout! Select program at the studio's online store. Now Shout! Factory has informed us that the official ship date for this title will be November 16th, and they've provided us with this description as well:
• • • • Here for the first time on DVD are all 26 episodes from the fourth season of the classic TV sitcom. Architect Wilbur Post (Alan Young, "The Time Machine") and his wife Connie (Connie Hines) are once again up to their ears in trouble — — and hilarity — — with the mischief brought on by their meddlesome talking horse. This season Ed helps the Dodgers clinch the National League pennant, hits an inside-the-parker off Sandy Koufax, starts a one-horse band, visits San Francisco, plays Santa, and runs off to live with Mae West! Guest stars include Mae West, Leo Durocher, Sandy Koufax, John Roseboro, Willie Davis, Bill "Moose" Skowron, Vin Scully, Sharon Tate, Butch Patrick, Jack Albertson and Abigail Van Buren (aka "Dear Abby"). ...
