Mae West: Un-worthington

How many errors can you spot in this preposterous sentence about MAE WEST?
• • Columnist Ray Crippen writes: There is a Mae West movie; Mae West and W.C. Fields. Mae comes into a room wearing a gorgeous, new fur coat. Mae’s friend exclaims, “My Goodness!” Mae responds, “Goodness had nothing to with this, Dearie.”
• • Error: W.C. Fields is NOT in this motion picture.
• • Error: Mae's character does not exactly come "into a room." Specifically, she walks to the coat check counter in a speakeasy.
• • Error: Mae's friend? It's the coat check attendant [actress Patricia Farley] who speaks to her
— — praising Mae's diamond jewelry, not her furs.
• • Error: "New" fur coat — — sez who?
