Mae West: Free "Sex" Tix

In The San Francisco Examiner [2 October 2007 issue] there's a nice photo of the actress who will portray Margy LaMont — — the leading character in "Sex," a play written by MAE WEST in 1926.
• • A fascinating revival of "Sex" will be onstage next month in the Bay area. Delia MacDougall stars as Mae West [sic] in this production, which will be opening in November at the Aurora Theatre, a company that participates in the Free Night of Theater event.
• • The Examiner reports that, "Now in its third year, Theatre Bay Area’s Free Night of Theater program is under way. More than 120 Bay Area theater companies are participating in the event, offering free tickets to about 145 performances."
• • In 2006, more than 8,300 free tickets were given away. Not only is this a great opportunity to enjoy "Sex" — — but maybe you'll get it free.
