MAE WEST had an enduring admiration for the male physique in person and onscreen. When Bob Hope — — born in the month of May on 29 May 1903 — — asked the comedienne a question, she did not hesitate. But first we will remind our Mae-mavens about the once glorious muscle-bound Tanny brothers.

I saw Diana Ross in concert in Vancouver in 1983, and she used Mae's "When I'm good, I'm good, but when I'm bad I'm better" quote.
