• • HOLLYWOOD — — Mae West will make one of her rare television appearances when she is the guest star in an episode of Mister Ed, starring Alan Young with the talking horse on the CBS television network, Sundays 6:30 to 7 PM. The episode, titled "Mae West Meets Mister Ed," marks the first time Miss West has appeared in a continuing series.
• • She was a guest star a few years ago on "The Red Skelton Show," also on the CBS television network.
• • Miss West's Mister Ed appearance will be filmed soon and will be broadcast several weeks later. Arthur Lubin is the producer-director of the series.
