The dapper six-foot-two leading man enjoyed success on Broadway, creating several memorable roles from 1916 — 1933. When he went out to Hollywood, he was cast in nearly 180 motion pictures. Fans will remember him as Donovan in "Goin' to Town" [1935].

I'm amazed to find this site-- I've never known anyone quite so crazy for Mae West, but count me in as an admirer. Suddenly, I realize my young paramour has never seen one of Mae's movies, and I guess I need to rectify that. Keep the faith!
