Mae West: Missoula

MAE WEST is starring as one of the "Icons of the West" in a new show in Missoula.
• • A fascinating oil painting of Mae West will be on display at the "Icons of the West" exhibition, a show that will debut at the Dana Gallery in Montana this week on 16 June 2011. The artists had been asked to create their own interpretation of a Western Icon. The artist who painted Mae's portrait is Michele Usibelli, a Seattle native.
WHEN: Opening reception will be held at the gallery on Thursday, 16 June 2011. "Icons of the West" will run through 1 September 2011.
